Mark B. Marquis is the founder of SNHLocal — Southern New Hampshire's curated guide of the best local businesses. He's been building websites and online visibility strategies for businesses since 1998, when he started working for a software company building their first site.
Nearly three decades later, he's watched the same pattern play out over and over: real local businesses with happy customers, fair prices, and decades of community involvement get outranked in search by national chains with bigger marketing budgets.
SNHLocal is built to fix that — by making sure every legitimate Southern NH business has a verified, optimized Local Star profile that competes for visibility on the platforms their customers actually use, including AI search.
It's free, and it stays free.
Why SNHLocal Exists
Three things became impossible to ignore.
